Treat Yourself Travel Terms & Conditions

Updated: April 2026

Treat Yourself Travel acts as an independent travel advisor and assists clients with booking travel services through third party suppliers, including airlines, hotels, cruise lines, resorts, tour operators, and other travel providers.

Reservations
All reservations are subject to availability and are not confirmed until the required deposit or payment is received and the booking is accepted by the travel supplier.

Names and Identification
Clients must provide their full legal name exactly as it appears on the government issued identification or passport that will be used for travel. Any name correction or change after booking may result in supplier penalties, fare increases, cancellation, rebooking, or other additional charges. Clients are responsible for all costs related to name corrections or changes.

Payments
A deposit may be required at the time of booking. The amount due, payment schedule, and final payment date will be provided at the time of reservation. Full payment must be received by the stated due date. Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the reservation and loss of funds already paid, subject to supplier terms.

Pricing
All prices are subject to change until a deposit or full payment is received and the booking is confirmed. Pricing may change due to supplier updates, airfare changes, taxes, fees, fuel surcharges, currency changes, or availability. In the event of a pricing error or supplier correction, Treat Yourself Travel reserves the right to correct the price. If the client chooses not to accept the corrected price before final confirmation, any refund will be subject to supplier terms.

Cancellations and Refunds
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Refund eligibility is determined by the travel supplier and may be subject to cancellation penalties, administrative fees, and non refundable deposit rules. Payments made to secure travel arrangements may be non refundable and non transferable. Treat Yourself Travel does not control supplier cancellation or refund policies and is not responsible for supplier decisions regarding refunds.

Reservation Changes
Changes requested after booking, including date changes, traveler substitutions, room changes, or supplier changes, may result in additional fees and are subject to supplier approval and availability. Treat Yourself Travel is not responsible for any additional costs created by requested changes.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Clients agree not to initiate chargebacks for authorized charges related to valid travel bookings, planning services, or supplier payments. If there is a billing concern, clients must contact Treat Yourself Travel first to attempt resolution. Unauthorized or improper chargebacks may result in cancellation of travel services, denial of future booking services, and recovery efforts for any financial losses or fees incurred.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all trips. Travel insurance may help protect against certain losses related to cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, baggage issues, and travel delays. Clients are responsible for reviewing and selecting any insurance coverage they want.

Passports, Visas, and Travel Documents
Clients are responsible for obtaining and carrying all required travel documents, including passports, visas, identification, vaccination records, and any other entry documents required by the destination or supplier. Passport validity and entry requirements vary by destination and may change without notice. Treat Yourself Travel is not responsible for denied boarding, denied entry, missed travel, or losses resulting from incomplete, invalid, or missing travel documents.

Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for reviewing all booking details, confirmations, invoices, itineraries, and travel documents upon receipt and must notify Treat Yourself Travel immediately of any errors. Clients are also responsible for complying with supplier rules, destination requirements, health requirements, and behavior standards during travel.

Travel Supplier Responsibility
Treat Yourself Travel acts only as an intermediary between the client and independent travel suppliers. Airlines, hotels, cruise lines, resorts, transportation providers, and tour operators are separate entities with their own terms, conditions, and policies. Treat Yourself Travel is not responsible for the acts, errors, omissions, delays, cancellations, overbookings, bankruptcies, injuries, property damage, losses, or service failures of any supplier.

Travel Disruptions
Treat Yourself Travel is not responsible for losses or additional expenses caused by flight delays, schedule changes, missed connections, weather events, natural disasters, strikes, border issues, government actions, pandemics, civil unrest, mechanical issues, or other events outside of its control. Any assistance provided in these situations is a courtesy and does not create liability.

Force Majeure
Treat Yourself Travel shall not be responsible for failure or delay in performance resulting from acts beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, weather events, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, government restrictions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disruptions, transportation interruptions, supplier shutdowns, or other force majeure events. In such cases, all refunds, credits, changes, and cancellations will be governed by the supplier’s policies and any applicable terms of the travel arrangement.

Health and Fitness to Travel
Clients are responsible for determining whether they are medically and physically fit for travel and for obtaining any medical advice, vaccinations, or prescriptions needed for their trip. Treat Yourself Travel is not responsible for any medical issues, health related travel interruptions, or costs arising during or after travel.

Special Requests and Accessibility
Special requests, including bedding, dietary needs, medical accommodations, and accessibility requests, will be passed on to suppliers when provided by the client, but cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed directly by the supplier. Treat Yourself Travel is not responsible if a supplier is unable to accommodate a request.

No Guarantee of Specific Services
Room type, bedding, seat assignments, hotel views, adjoining rooms, accessibility features, and other special preferences are controlled by the supplier and are subject to availability. Requests are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed in writing by the supplier.

Documentation Delivery
Travel documents, confirmations, invoices, and itinerary updates may be delivered electronically. Clients are responsible for monitoring their email and ensuring they receive all documents before departure.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Treat Yourself Travel shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or related to travel services, supplier performance, delays, cancellations, disruptions, injuries, losses, or expenses connected with a booking or trip.

Indemnification
Clients agree to hold harmless and indemnify Treat Yourself Travel from claims, damages, costs, fees, and expenses arising from the client’s actions, omissions, travel conduct, document issues, or breach of these Terms & Conditions.

Photographs and Marketing
If a client voluntarily provides testimonials, trip photos, or written reviews to Treat Yourself Travel, the client grants permission for that material to be used for business marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

Website and Information Accuracy
Treat Yourself Travel makes reasonable efforts to present accurate information on its website and communications, but pricing, availability, supplier descriptions, and travel details may change without notice. Treat Yourself Travel is not responsible for typographical errors, supplier content errors, or outdated information provided by third parties.

Governing Terms
By making a booking, submitting a payment, requesting services, or using this website, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions as well as the terms and conditions of all travel suppliers connected to their reservation.
